The talk will by Dr. Abdul Hamid Mahadeen will discuss the introduction of modern education in Bahrain and the Gulf region between the nineteenth and twentieth century. Dr. Abdul Hamid Mahadeen holds a PhD from Cairo University obtained in 2001. He has written many books including Windows 1985 and Hedaya between 1919 – 1948.
