Passoverdance, which its show will coincide with the Chinese Cultural days, is a Hong Kong dance organisation dedicated to fostering and developing dance in Hong Kong.  The modern dance programme is a double-bill, consisting of two dance pieces: Luminescent and Xin Xiang.  Luminescent is about the beauty of companionship, while the concept behind Xin Xiang is related to a traditional Chinese image. Luminescent describes the acquaintance of a group of young people which develops into a lasting friendship through trust, share, listen and support, willing to give and ready to take from each other.  The concept behind Xin Xiang is related to a traditional Chinese image, a ‘Tree’ as symbol of existence and a representation of the philosophy of life; self-realisation, resilience and self-contentment.  The choreography of this show is inspired by the painting of Wu Guanzhong as well as a Chinese poetry, Ink Plum Blossoms.
