‘Best Practice in Community eParticipation’ Award Goes to Bahrain Culture Authority  Honored with E-Government  Excellence Award

Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities was honored with the ‘Best Practice in Community eParticipation’ Award during the 10th edition of eGovernment Excellence Award winners, held on 28 April 2019. Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, patronised the eGovernment Excellence Award 2019 Ceremony, and the 10th Anniversary of the award.  Chairman of the Shura Council and Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers and other guests have attended the event also.

H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, commented on the occasion, saying “ We would like to express our sincere thanks to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, for patronizing this ceremony, honouring Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities’ Social Media accounts with  Best Practice in Community eParticipation”. H.E added to say “ This honor winning award is the fruit of concerted efforts by BACA’s team, who have succeeded to create an  interactive virtual e-content platform, unique and exceptional among local institutions and entities, based mainly on sharing and communication with the society with regard to culture.”

Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities is taking part in this prestigious award winning annual event, eGovernment Excellence Award 2019 Ceremony, with a special pavilion showcasing a detailed presentation of BACA’s- related social networks. The platform intercepts and interacts with the public’s opinions and views with regard to its initiatives and cultural programs.  The awarding ceremony will also comprise the celebration of 10 years since the launch of the award. The patron will reward several public entities for their participation in the award throughout the ten years.
The accompanied exhibition is also held to recognize the wi nning entities and those which have been nominated for advanced levels and had major opportunities to win in comparison to other projects.
