The Full Bollywood Experience, Tomorrow at the Cultural Hall

The 2017 Bahrain Summer Festival line-up of featuring acts continues with A Passage to Bollywood on August 3 at the Cultural Hall. Presented by choreographer Ashley Lobo and the Navdhara India Dance Theatre, the production is like watching a live-action Bollywood film on stage as it encapsulates all the elements that make the genre so exceptional and adored, from dramatic plot twists and turns to dazzling song and dance and numbers that feature both classic and more modern hits.

The show, which already sold out, is the penultimate event of popular annual festival which ends on August 7. The final event, Homage to the Great Thai Kings featuring Thailand’s virtuoso pianist and composer Nat Yontarak, will take place on August 5 at the Cultural Hall.

Organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), the popular annual event supports BACA’s “Our Year of Archaeology” year-long campaign aimed at highlighting the island’s unique archaeological assets and bolstering its position as a preferred regional cultural tourism destination.
