Young Musicians of St. Petersburg Concert At the Cultural Hall

The Cultural Hall will host one of Russia's most famous folk bands, the "Folk Musicians of St. Petersburg" with the participation of the Mariinsky Theatre soloist, who will be performing on Sunday, 14 May, at 8pm.

The Russian ballet concert is the fruit of a constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the city of St. Petersburg, aiming at enhancing mutual cooperation and coordination in all fields, especially culture. Worth to mention that the Art Center hosted an exhibition titled "St. Petersburg Through the Eyes of the Angels: A View From St. Isaac's" at the Art Centre on 11 May and The lovers of Gala of St. Petersburg Ballet Stars at Bahrain National Theater.

On 14 May 2017, the common cultural activities will also mesmerize the public by presenting Young Musicians of St. Petersburg playing modern versions of famous Russian songs on traditional Russian Folk Instruments. Indeed, All the musicians regularly tour in Russia and abroad, they are famous for their vivid and unforgettable artistic performances that won’t leave anyone bored. Singers: Alexander Trofimov (Mariinsky Theatre), Karina Chepurnova (Mariinsky Theatre). Apart from starring in the Mariinsky Theatre productions, both singers actively participate in live performances of Russian folk bands. These musicians and singers were holding the attention of more than 10 000 spectators at live gigs in Costa Rica (the Festival of Arts), Spain, Estonia, Russia and many other countries; their original versions of traditional Russian hits coupled with the passionate energy coming right from their hearts will conquer the audience from the very first minutes of the show.
