The participants visited the  second listed site on the World Heritage List, namely Pearling: Testimony of an Island Economy, where they  were got acquainted with the marvelous heritage site of Bu Maher Fort and its Visitor Center. They also enjoyed the historical houses along the Pearling Path, which reflect a glorious past telling the story of prosperous community living on the commerce of pearling before the discovery of oil in Bahrain. The participants ended their visit in Dar al Muharraq, a heritage venue that documents the intangible Bahraini heritage, namely the Al-Aaswt Art, and famous traditional singing  and oral traditions of Bahrain.

Worth to mention that the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee chaired by Bahrain, is being held at the “UNESCO Village”, a special temporary complex set up by BACA in the vicinity of Ritz Carlton Hotel that is supporting  this event. The “UNESCO village” is made up of a central main special tent, which will be setup at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel in Manama. “Ammar Basheir Studio for Art , the Creative Design”  bureau masterminded the elaboration and idea design of the “ UNESCO Village”, given that the same office had already succeeded to promote the brand image of the Kingdom of Bahrain in international events as a representative of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities.
