In collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication, 5 PM At BAB – "Design Postage Stamp" competition Scheduled
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities continues to present its weekly cultural rendez-vous, “5.00 P.M At Bab” activities and events, which are aimed at attracting all residents and Bahrainis to enjoy their week-ends at 5:00 pm. On 17 January 2019, BACA will present its “Expression in Art” workshop on different styles and ways of expression through art. Indeed, the "Design Postage Stamp" competition is being held under the supervision of a specialized artist; as participants will design a series of stamps. Participants will learn about various postage stamps during a tour at the Post Museum. The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to execute and print their postage stamps. Workshop Ages 7-17 years.
Worth to mention that Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities has launched a series of events aimed at reviving the most iconic cultural landmarks of Bahrain, Bab Al-Bahrain, specifically in its front outdoor space (the market area), every Thursday at 5:00 pm. The idea is create an attractive festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy and participate in these cultural activities.
