Bahrain Summer Festival’s Third Week Events, “Vocal Trash” Music Concert & Theatrical Show “White Crow”

As part of the 12th   edition of the 2020 Bahrain Summer Festival, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities presents two mazing artistic shows;  On 19 August “Vocal Trash” Band will perform a dazzling show at 6:00pm, while a selective theater play will entertain lovers of playwrights, offering “ White Crow”, on 21 August 2020 at 6:00pm too. These and other events are accessible via Bahrain Summer Festival’s You Tube channel @BahrainSummerFestival.

Vocal Trash’s performance, held in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States of America in the Kingdom of Bahrain, promotes green sustainability, as well as social awareness of issues like anti-bullying, to students globally. This, in turn, inspires the youth to make good choices through Vocal Trash’s mixture of popular music and dance. The cast is made up of young, award-winning professional entertainers highlighting environmental awareness in a fun and meaningful way.

“White Crow”, an event held in collaboration with the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, will try to answer whether crows can be beautiful, or are they bound to their philosophical perspectives, one that instills a sense of doom and gloom in them, driving people to fly away? This play is a twist on the conceptual ideas crows embody, showing the beauty of doves while exposing their opposites as a representation of the forces of evil seeking to destroy love and peace. A crow poses as a dove to steal wheat and is soon discovered for its false color and abhorrent voice, thus is abandoned by the group that entrusted it with this task.

Worth to mention that Bahrain Summer Festival, held this year under “Virtually Together” slogan, will continue to entertain and enrich the cultural scene until 31st August 2020 via a virtual online platform given the exceptional pandemic outbreak.  So, please stay tuned and follow the festival’s daily events on social media channels on @Nakhoolbah, as well as login on to Bahrain Summer Festival’s program for more details about events and dates on www.bahrainsummer.com
