H.E Receives the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation’s Delegation

 

Her Excellency Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received a delegation from the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP at t her office today, Wednesday the 11th of March, headed by the CEO of the company Dr. Ahmed Ali Attiga as the two sides discussed means of mutual cooperation.

H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa reviewed during the meeting the most prominent current cultural programs and BACA’s future vision in the next years, based on an endeavor launched by H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, in cooperation with the private sector to make Bahrain a unique cultural tourism destination and achieve, thus,  sustainable development.  H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammad Al-Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities asserted that cultural private- public partnerships can offer a great potential to an exceptional cultural industry, pointing out to the many cultural infrastructure propjets that have been implemented in Bahrain through this partnership.

Dr. Ahmed Ali Attiga, for his part, lauded the strenuous efforts deployed by BACA to make Bahrain a pioneering cultural hub and preferred destination, voicing his readiness to cooperate with the Authority with regard to future cultural projects, noting the importance of the cultural infrastructure in achieving national sustainable development. He also expressed delight in establishing cooperation to promote Bahrain’s cultural identity that reflects its civilization and genuine authentic cultural heritage, welcoming cooperation in the interest of reinforcing cultural infrastructure and promote Bahrain‘s cultural standing internationally.
