The Fourth Installation: The Return of the Sailors, (The Ceremony of Qiffal)

The installation elicits the period preceding the ship’s long-awaited return (qiffal) to land, marked by feelings of anticipation and joy. Palm fronds are used to recall the faint voices of women waiting by the seashore, praying for the return of their loved ones.
