Mr. Yousuf Salahuddin will give a talk on the multifaceted relations between the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Bahrain from a diplomatic and trade perspective during the last 5o years. He will also shed light on the Bahraini presence in India in the last centuries.

 
Mr. Yousuf Salahuddin Ebrahim Salahuddin is a businessman, researcher and writer whose name is associated with aviation, history and trade. He has contributed to philanthropy and is an active member of some committees and associations. He is chairperson of Commercial Market Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition, he is Vice Chairman of Bahrain China Friendship Society and member of The Bahrain History & Archaeology Society, member ASEAN Bahrain Council, and member of GCC Society of History & Archaeology.

 
He was born in Kanoo area in Manama on February 12, 1951, studied in Bahrain schools, graduated from the Manama Secondary School, continued his higher studies in Egypt and Cyprus, graduated as a commercial and instrument pilot and became the first Bahraini pilot to receive the FAA Commercial Aviation Certificate. He established own business in 1972 and will celebrate, the fiftieth anniversary of his business in July 2022. He takes great interest in local, regional and international events and writes articles in Arabic newspaper Akhbar Al Khaleej and Al Ayam and English newspaper Gulf Daily News from time to time.
