Felting Wool Art Workshop

Workshop Overview:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre organises a workshop on needle felting. A dry felting technique, it is considered a versatile and innovative craft that involves manipulating and sculpting wool fibers using special needles. This technique allows artists and craftspeople to create flat objects and pieces, such as wool artworks.

Workshop topics include:

• Learn about the different types of felting.
• How to use a special needle.
• How to blend colours to create a wool drawing.
• How to secure the canvas for the final design.

Workshop Outcomes:

• Master the art of felting with wool, and trainees will receive an artwork of their own design.
