Time: 9 AM – 12 PM

Topics:

• Learning the process of creating a pottery vessel using the traditional Dilmun technique.
• Exploring the structure of ancient Dilmun temples and creatively reimagining them through the child’s unique perspective.
• Discovering a selection of archaeological artefacts and learning how to photograph them using a mobile phone.

Outcomes:

• Gaining hands-on experience in pottery-making through a visit to a pottery workshop in A’ali and observing artisans at work.
• Crafting a handmade pottery vessel using the Dilmun technique.
• Practising artefact photography using simple tools and basic techniques.
