The Young Artisan - Bead Embroidery Workshop

Workshop Overview:

As part of "The Young Artisan" program, Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre is organising a workshop on Bead Embroidery, a form of embroidery that uses beads to decorate fabrics or other materials. The beads are attached to the fabric using a needle and thread, creating three-dimensional and decorative designs.

Workshop Topics:

• Learn the materials used to make a bead brooch
• Identify the type of needles suitable for beadwork
• How to transfer the drawing to make a bead brooch
• Practical application with an emphasis on workmanship and cleanliness
• How to finish the product
