Handcrafting Jewellery Using Moulds Workshop

Workshop Overview:

Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre organises a workshop on Handcrafting Jewellery using Moulds. Designer Zohour Shaker Al Sayegh will present a unique workshop on handcrafting jewellery using moulds. The course will give participants the opportunity to learn the basics of designing unique pieces, understand precious metals and stones, and try their hand at creating their designs using carefully selected tools and kits, allowing each participant to create a piece that reflects their personal taste.

• Theoretical part:
• Introduction to metals and their types
• Identifying different gold carats
• Precious stones and their types
• Design basics and inspiration
• Practical part:
• Experimenting with designing pieces by hand using ready-made moulds
• Practical applications with design tools tailored to each participant
• Use a set of pure silver pieces to create preliminary designs

Workshop Outcomes:

• Design personalised jewellery, which will later be crafted with high precision in the factory.
