Since its founding in 1983, the Bahrain Arts Society has stood as a vital pillar of the visual arts movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Built upon the vision and contributions of a distinguished group of pioneering artists, the Society has played a central role in nurturing artistic practice and strengthening its presence locally and across the region.

Through a sustained and evolving artistic journey, the Society continues to bring together an exceptional community of artists spanning pioneers, academics, and emerging voices. Working in harmony, these artists enrich the cultural scene through diverse practices and creative expressions that reflect the depth, continuity, and transformation of the Bahraini artistic experience.

Guided by its cultural and artistic vision, the Bahrain Arts Society remains committed to highlighting the position of the Bahraini artist and presenting their work with distinction on local and international stages. Through the organization of solo and group exhibitions in Bahrain and abroad, the Society has enabled Bahraini artistic production to reach leading cultural platforms.

Marking forty-two years since its establishment, the Society presents its annual exhibition at the Art Centre, bringing together artists from different generations. The exhibition features works across a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and multimedia, affirming the continuity of artistic practice through a contemporary lens and extending a cultural legacy deeply rooted in local identity.
