Bahrain Summer Festival Organizing Committee Announces that Tickets are on Sale
With much joy and all the colors of the rainbow, Bahrain is all set to host the sixth annual Bahrain Summer Festival starting on 31 July 2014 and will continue until 30 August 2014. Held under the theme “Summer of Colors", the festival is a mélange of art, theatre, music and dance, bringing together talented artists and performers from all over the world. The Festival’s Organizing Committee would like to inform the public that tickets for Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, Dora’s Pirate Adventure, Blaze, FREEJ Abood’s Dream, and Chico and the Gypsies are on sale starting from today, Thursday 17 July, at Virgin Megastore at Bahrain City Centre or via e-email at: http://www.virginmegastore.me.
Kindly note that all attendees must have their own ticket and must meet the age requirement of the event that they will be attending. The festival will kick off with a Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy show, which will run from July 31 to August 2 at 7:00 pm the BIECC, followed by two extra-shows at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Tickets for Dora the Explorer and her friends in Dora's Pirate Adventure shows on 7 August 7 at 5:00 pm is also available as well as extra-shows for August 8 & 9 at 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, including the show on August 10 at 5:00 pm.
On 16 & 17 August at 7:00 pm, Bahrain’s audience will have a rendezvous with excitement and upbeat tempo; feel the power and energy of the high-voltage international street dance sensation Blaze. Little festival fans can look forward to a summer of endless giggles and fantasy fun with 6 showings of Nickelodeon’s interactive musical Dora’s Pirate Adventure from 7 to 10 August and 4 showings of the all-new family theatre experience FREEJ Abood’s Dream from 21 to 24 August. Both events will take place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre and ticket announcements are coming soon. Get ready for a wild evening with Chico & the Gypsies, the latest project of Jahloul “Chico” Bouchiki, co-founder of the legendary French crossover band The Gipsy Kings which became synonymous with memories of sunny carefree summer days on 26 August at 8:00 pm.
Bahrain Summer Festival is also a family event gathering children and parents under one roof filled with entertainment at Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Centre (BIECC). Bahrain Summer Festival promises a lot of fun activities and entertainment for the whole family and will attract all segments of society with circus acts, musicians, and theatre companies from around the world. In addition, the festival celebrates family fun and culture at Nakhool City with Nakhoola, and through what is sure to be an exceptional concert by the internationally acclaimed Iraqi singer, musician, and composer Ilham Al-Madfai at the Cultural Hall on 13 & 14 of August.
