H.E Receives Outgoing Saudi Cultural Attaché
H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, president of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), received on Monday 24 August 2015 the Saudi Cultural Attaché to the kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Turki Bin Fahd Al-Ayyar, to bid him farewell at the end of his diplomatic mission at the Saudi Embassy.
The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities president (BACA) expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the vital and constructive role played by Dr. Turki Bin Fahd Al-Ayyar during his mission at the Saudi Embassy. H.E Shaikha Mai also lauded the bilateral relations and highlighted the joint cultural movement that reflected the historic depth of human ties, adding that Saudi Arabia has played a prominent role in enriching the Bahraini cultural scene through various cultural contributions.
Dr. Turki Bin Fahd Al-Ayyar, for his part, thanked H.E Shaikha Mai for her efforts to bolster the unique cultural relationships between both countries, asserting that Bahrain is playing an outstanding role in highlighting the region's authentic culture through multiple activities and festivals, pointing out that Bahrain has become a major destination for Gulf and Arab tourists. He said that intellectual Bahraini-Saudi ties and cooperation had fruitful results while expressing his country's constant readiness to participate in Bahrain's cultural and intellectual development process.
