“The Very Hungry Caterpillar”

 

Celebrating World Health Day, Qala’at al-Bahrain Site Museum, reaffirming its leading role in enriching the cultural movement in Bahrain and in collaboration with Enkiru Kids Club, organized an interactive workshop “Storytelling the Hungry Caterpillar” on Saturday 9 April 2016 between 4:00pm -5:30 pm.

The workshop included activities, events and interactive games focused on healthy food habits.

Children 4-8 years old participated in this event and learned about a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and exercise as well as feeding the brain by reading. Bahrainis and residents lauded the constructive event held at Bahrain Fort Site Museum and praised the role played by Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities to enhance societal partnership in line with the international trend to generate positive social impact.
