HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud Visits House of Poetry
H.E: “We are honored by this visit that heralds future culture cooperation.”
The House of Poetry, ‘Beit Ibrahim Al-Arayedh’, an offshoot of the Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa for Culture & Research Center, welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud, president of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), on 2 May 2016. His Royal Highness was received by Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (BACA) President and Centre Board of Trustees' Chairperson H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa who stressed strong fraternal relations binding the two countries. H.E said, “We are honored to welcome his High Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz and we highly value these visits that reflect our common cultural visions and pave the way for bright future cultural cooperation.”
HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud was briefed about the history of the House of Poetry as well as the activities and events being held at the Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa for Culture & Research Center. HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud had previously paid many visits to the Center and gave an interesting lecture in 2007.
At the end of the visit, H.E Shaikha Mai expressed her gratitude and appreciation for his HRH’s visit and his interest in culture and arts while also thanking HRH for patronizing the historical and universal heritage sites of the Kingdom of Bahrain. H.E. addressed an invitation to HRH to attend an event celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Shaikh Ebrahim Center for Culture & Research’s official inauguration.
