“ Sound & Light “ Show at Qala’at al-Bahrain Site
Bahrain Fort Site Museum, as part of its strategy to satisfy the public, has planned the legendary “Sound and Light” show, which will be presented at the site of Qala’at al-Bahrain and its historical and cultural significance that is beyond any words or description. The show will start on 3 January 2019 at 6:00 pm, and will be presented three days –a week ( Tuesday-Thursday-Friday. The show starts at 6pm with the English version, followed by the Arabic version at 7pm.
Through the state-of-art technologies of lighting, Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities seeks to highlight the deeply-rooted history and civilization of Bahrain as told by its most renounced site: Qal’at al Bahrain. Indeed, an interactive and moving audio visual experience which will take the audience in a guided journey from the present into the past, and back. The project tells the story of civilizations hosted by Bahrain throughout history through a live, moving audiovisual experience which will take the audience on a journey from the present into the past. Qala’at Al-Bahrain is the first archaeological site in Bahrain to be designated as one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
