Traditional Folk Music Night at Dar Al Riffa Al-Oda
Dar Al Riffa Al Oda, in East Riffa, hosted , on 5 January 2019, a beautiful evening of traditional popular genuine Bahraini music performed by Dar Al-Riffa Youth Music Band. During the evening of music concert, the band played most gracefully a selection of popular well-known songs in Bahrain and the Gulf region, amid warmly appreciative and enthusiastic audience, astounded by the by the beauty and talent on display that night of the Intangible heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities continues its strenuous efforts to safeguard the Kingdom’s intangible heritage and works on its promotion and spreading, through these popular folk music evenings and concerts and other projects related basically to Al-Sout music art.
Worth to mention that Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities inaugurated Dar Al Riffa in December 2017, a year baptized as “Our year of Archaeology”, which was dedicated to establish a vivid and fervent sustainable cultural infrastructure as planned and masterminded by Bahrain Culture Authority.
