“5.00 P.M. at Bab” Children Workshop Registration Open, “Pottery Restoring”
Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities continues to present its weekly cultural rendez-vous, “5.00 P.M At Bab” events. On 10 January 2019, a children interactive workshop on “Pottery Restoring” is planned as these activities are aimed to provide an interesting, unique, interactive and fun way to discover ceramic art restoration and the history of Bahraini pottery. Registration is require.
The workshop, which will be held at Bab Al-Bahrain’s front outdoor space, aims to provide tips and essential information to kids (aged between 6-12 years) about the basic principles and techniques of archaeological excavation, and restoration of pottery artifacts in a simplified way. The workshop is supervised by a restoration specialist.
