Qala’at al Bahrain Site Museum The “Little Archaeologist” workshop
Qala’at al Bahrain Site Museum, in cooperation with Enkiru Kids Club, hosts a workshop, the “Little Archaeologist”, on 17 January 2019 at 4:00 pm. . For registration and more information, please visit BACA’s website on www.culture.gov.bh
The workshop is a series of hands-on demonstrations and open discussion about archaeological outreach to children (aged between 7-12 years), who will learn different archaeological excavation techniques, how to extract artifacts out of the ground, best ways to restore and preserve these artifacts, their original condition, maintaining them as genuine as possible over the time, without damaging their historical value.
This workshop reflects Bahrain’s Culture Authority’ keenness to enhance social community’s participation in the cultural activities and events, spreading awareness about the importance of the preservation of Bahrain’s archaeological and historical heritage.
