Bahrain National Theatre invites lovers of genuine classic Arabic music and welcomes them to enjoy f genuine traditional orient greatest musicians in a special evening titled “ A Tribute to the Great Divas of the Arab World” concert , which will take place, on 31 January 2019, performed by some of the region’s most talented artists, Ghada Shbeir and Mai Farouk. The concert’s tickets are still available at Virgin Megastore at Bahrain City Centre or via e-email at : http://www.virginmegastore.me.
This musical performance, specially designed and conducted by Ramzi Aburedwan and Alain Weber, revives some of the exquisite songs by Arab divas from the 1920’s to the 1960’s, when the Arab world was the epicenter of a creative effervescence, where legends such as Oum Kalthoum, Asmahan, Leila Mourad and Fairuz emerged and shaped the golden age of Arabic song with their enchanting voices and indomitable personalities.
