The Bahrain National Museum will host, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 the opening of the "Living Sea" exhibition, which displays the works of Prince Hussain Aga Khan and documentary photographer Simon Piccoli.
The amazing exhibition features wonderful, vibrant photos by Prince Hussain Aga Khan and video clips by Simon Piccoli, giving the Bahraini audience the opportunity to explore the marvels of the undersea worlds and the unique biodiversity of the Kingdom of Tonga, the Arab Republic of Egypt and Mexico, and to live a unique immersive experience.
After its successful opening in Venice, Italy, the ‘The Living Sea’ makes its second stop in the Kingdom of Bahrain exclusively. The exhibition is being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, the Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research, the Arab Regional Center for World Heritage, and collaborated with Focused on Nature , the Swiss association created by Hussain Aga Khan to promote, through photography, awareness of environmental causes and to finance some of the best charities in the world for particular species and ecosystems of interest and marine biodiversity.
