The exhibition "ONE: Thematic Journeys Through Glass" by artist Louis Jawad opened at the Art Centre, part of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in the presence of Her Excellency Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Member of the National Council for Arts, alongside Arab and international ambassadors, officials, and a number of artists and cultural enthusiasts in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Running until 30 April, the exhibition takes visitors on a visual journey that moves between personal reflection and travel through time and space. Through seven unique themes, Louis Jawad employs dynamic visual manipulation and an innovative handmade technique, using molten glass.

The artist has reshaped and sculpted glass from scratch, creating unique pieces and diverse forms that narrate his artistic vision, reflecting his inspiration from architectural heritage, sustainability, and cultural identity. The exhibition highlights the evolution of his artistic experience and the diversity of his visual expressive techniques.
Louis Jawad is renowned for his works, which blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. His work focuses on sustainability and the use of local materials as essential elements. Through his master’s studies in Glass and Architecture, he has created glass artworks that embody cultural concepts and environmental responsibility. He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions.
