Muharraq Nights Festival in Its Fourth Edition Presents a Comprehensive Program for Families and Children

The fourth edition of the Muharraq Nights Festival continues with a program that brings together educational and entertainment experiences, coinciding with the Celebrate Bahrain Season 2025. The historic streets and alleys of Muharraq come alive with a diverse cultural movement stretching along the Pearling Path, welcoming families and visitors of all ages.

The festival places special emphasis on children’s activities by dedicating spaces to educational, artistic, and craft-based workshops, alongside interactive, recreational, and musical experiences designed to nurture creativity and encourage learning through hands-on engagement.

Among these initiatives is Fatema Story and Puppet House at Al Ghus House, where children embark on an interactive storytelling experience. Families can also visit HOPA: The Champions Adventure Room at Badr Ghulum House and Turabi House, offering a child-centred play space. In addition, Jihan Saleh Studio hosts drawing and colouring sessions at Al Sabt Building, while Sophia Bookstore presents a varied children’s program for different age groups. Asian Paints Berger Colour Lab, located in front of Fakhro House, offers an interactive space where children can learn and explore through artistic experiences. Further activities are available at the Creativity Zone at the Pearling Path Visitor and Experience Centre, where children can draw, paint, and craft under the guidance of professional instructors.

Family-friendly experiences also extend to food and dining, with cafés and kiosks operating daily along the Pearling Path, offering a range of Bahraini and international flavours from the shoreline of Qal’at Bu Mahir to the Siyadi area.

In addition, visitors can enjoy dining experiences within several historic houses, including Crumbles Café at Bait Haneen Ward, La Burccia at Bait La Burccia, Haneen by My Café at Bait Haneen Lowz, Grind at Bait Haneen Yasmeen, Wipped at Bait Haneen Sidra, and Bait Nasser, which offers contemporary interpretations of traditional Bahraini cuisine.

This program is complemented by a daily schedule featuring live musical performances, arts and crafts activities, markets, tasting experiences, and family-friendly guided tours that allow visitors to explore the historic houses connected to the Pearling Path.

Muharraq Nights Festival continues daily until 30 December, from Sunday to Wednesday, 5 PM to 10 PM, and from Thursday to Saturday, 5 PM to 12 AM, along the UNESCO-listed Pearling Path.

Further details on activities requiring advance registration are available through the festival’s daily program on the Pearling Path website www.pearlingpath.bh, and via social media @CultureBah and @pearlingpath.
